Overturf has been caring for patient needs in Missouri's Bootheel since 1948 when Mr. Andy Overturf purchased and set up the first Overturf retail pharmacy in Malden. As the demand for home health care services arose, Overturf became a leading force in providing home medical equipment and supplies. It has always been important to Overturf to work closely with patients to understand their needs while respecting their rights as a consumer, thus, due to business growth, Overturf recently expanded their service area which now encompasses an approximate 75 mile radius.
Overturf has always been involved in community activities in membership and leadership and tries to help patients obtain outside funding when needed.
DME has been a real growth area for this organization and Overturf is always interested in adding new areas of service and expanding its referral base, thereby making it not only a more profitable company but one whose employees and patrons can be proud of as it maintains the communities' respect and support for its abilities and standards in meeting their growing needs.
